Love, I Hate You
Love, I hate you,
Not ‘cos you’re ugly.
Love, I hate you,
Not ‘cos you don’t love me.
Love, I hate you,
‘Cos of your great love to me.
Love, I hate you, ‘cos of it;
A listener, you don’t want to be.
.
You heeded not what I said,
Even thou, I beg you, to “back off!”
“Now, Look!
You see… what we’ve done!?”
A soul is in grieve,
‘Cos of us.
With your love,
My soul cries, too.
Love, I hate you,
For intoxicating me, with your potion.
Thou, you know…
I am a married man.
