Love For Hip-Hop

Let's take it back to the days of Melle Mel & Grandmaster Flash The Rap masters, who actually had swagger Dr dre, When he was in N.W.A before Death Row records or Aftermath Ice Cube, Eazy E, Mc Ren & DJ Yella speaking the truth on records, some thought it was just bad manners Run DMC taught me to walk this way, I still can't believe Jam Master passed Public enemy had the courage to fight the power Both Them and N.W.A spoke about the politicians and real cowards Gangsta Rap started with none other than Ice-T Rakim the god MC, was paid in full with the president Eric B Everyone should know by now that Wu Tang ain't nothing to F with It still makes me happy to know I share a birthday with Method I love Redman, but my favourite member is Ghostface Killah Let me use this line to say Rest in peace to DJ Dilla Cube got screwed out of money & Dissed N.W.A Hard Eazy and Dre fell out over money too & Dre went to Death row for a fresh start Dre, Snoop Dogg & Tupac would make death row the biggest Label With P.Diddy, Biggie & Bad Boy at the opposite table Nas Released Illmatic in 94 and is still considered the greatest album ever Mobb Deep Came out with shook ones, there's still not many better In 95 Eazy died of AIDS, but signed Bone Thugs just before he passed The greatest group in the history of rap Bad Boy & Death Rows beef was at an all time high It was Suge Knight vs Diddy, But Biggie and Tupac had to die Xzibit released his debut album in 96, the year Tupac left the earth So did Ras Kaas, I fell in love with the way he connects the words Masta Ace, Big L, Big Pun, Fat Joe all deserve more respect Chino XL, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, Kept their rhymes fresh LL Cool J & Busta Rhymes always came with a different sound Then Eminem dropped & instantly came for the crown Hip-Hop had never seen anyone like him before I wish we could go back and stop Jay-Z & Nas's war 2 greats beefing, we didn't need that 50 Came along and Dropped one of the best ever Debut's in Rap Game also released an incredible debut before his & 50's beef Studied Hip-hop so I wouldn't be a slave to a page in Nas's rhyme Book Nate Dogg is forever the King of hooks Jay-Z & Nas made up & that was a great day for Hip-Hop 50 & Game haven't, that was the only beef that 50's lost It makes me sad no one seems to mention dipset or the Lox This is the only love that I haven't lost I'll always love Old School Hip-Hop
