Love and Leave

i BLED for you- from my anorexic soul, it craved nothing and everything so that you could stay safe and warm you BLED for you- the only way you knew how- sighing sated sentiments for solitude, never knowing how flawed your veins were i CRIED for you- the deepest depth can’t reach; all the tragedy you thought i carried was baggage you knew not how to hold you CRIED for you- so that you could become free- matters of your heart mean not love, but misconstrued broken glass from me you bled I CRIED you cried I BLED now i weep in silence- i have an evanescent thought; fleeting paramount of a paradox, for you were the one i always longed for epiphanies of symphonies of us during youth- yearning for the truth to ease what was wounded i NEEDED you- the farewell letter left told a tale of love and loss; what we never could be you NEEDED you- so that you could become what you never were, and what you never will be so i walk amongst all the might have beens and see what was always right in front of my eyes- i settled for you when i was radiating hope, not knowing my dreams would escape; i fear not the way you loved but the way you left without the worry of my heart breaking i ask you again, why did you LOVE and LEAVE
