Lost In the City

I am lost in the city Lonely beneath the tall buildings I am a country woman The noise shakes my soul Into the corners of dark places The busy streets, race my heart I am a country woman Where the mountains rise Above sparkling streams Where the animals play While nature sings a song I can’t stop singing Heidi Sands 5/20/18

Very nice, Heidi, in how you portray her culture shock. I love, "While nature sings a song I can’t stop singing".

I can relate, Heidi, I was raised in the city but feel lost when I visit much larger ones. Comfort stems from familiarity in some cases but I do agree that nature is glorious xxoo
