The sun's golden glean cascades over peaks
Where its reflection on black water lay
This beautiful picture shares its mystique
A peaceful scene that sweeps my breath away
Serene and quiet colors fill a space
And only the sound of my breath is heard
My soul's dim light with its flickering trace
Now trembles impatient as it is spurred
Naked I stand with a heart pierced in awe
When nature's masterpiece opened my eyes
Revealing beauty that makes me feel small
As she touches my soul and purifies
How quickly the sun shares its splayed light
How slowly it falls silent into night
