Looking Through Cracks
I look through cracks in cemented down floors
To try to catch a glimpse of a growing flower
This is basically how I look at a lot of things
I find diamonds in the rough
Perfect guys in wrong situations
I am patient
My passion never wavering
I would water a crack in the ground
Just to see what beauty could sprout
Having this kind of mind set
Having this kind of preference
Leaves me lonley and waiting
Sometimes I wish I could settle
But it just aint that easy
Why would I be intrigued
By the garden where there
are plentiful flowers growing
When I can have what's in this crack
If I can have my exact type
Down to the smile
Why would I want anything else
Even dispite the situation
Dispite how hard my prize might be
To achieve
I need a challenge
Is that so wrong?
