Look deep, deep- deep into my soul, what you see will shatter you, for it is a sea of emotions that exist there, a forever sadness weeps. And from each bleeding scar, chains of lead are holding me prisoner. Why does all this grief come unbidden? O, weather-stained is my soul, a ravaged garden my past. This eternal grief and sorrow haunts me, and cuts deep into paper white, because amongst grief and weeping, a poet was born, and she writes with her bleeding pen- ________________________________ September 15, 2016 Poetry/Verse/Look Deep Copyright Protected, ID 829-169-0 All Rights Reserved. Hi Broken Wings. Congrats on your wonderful placement. Though I cannot see your face, your bleeding pen has introduced me to your lovely soul. I do not see a soul in chains, nor a spirit in bondage. At some point, you have been awakened to touch the soul of many others. God's blessings always. Curtis.

7 for this lovely write. Cut deep into paper white gives me two images - one which is a painful paper cut. Nice, Broken Wings!

This gem reminds me of a poem you posted some months ago. It was written with depth feeling and so touching, 'non-fiction, you said,' though I don't remember it tittle. I was not of glory, but something you appal. I think every poet has his or her origin of emotion for writing. Thanks for sharing, my friend........A.M.
