Lonely World
I’m taken a new lover
Loneliness now shares my bed
Its embrace so soothing
That pain we both know well
We’ve learned to share
And escape together
If only for a little while
Soothing becoming smothering
Escape but an illusion
There’s really no rescue
Loneliness intoxicating
It’s all so ever haunting
I should just accept that
Loneliness may now be
The whole of my world
Filling the emptiness inside
