Lisa.
Remember when we were little and we could spend all day together?
remember how we would laugh when I slept over and it was time to go bed?
remember how we could play from sun up to sun set and wanted more time?
remember when we said friends forever?
you were always there when I needed to talk to some one
you would listen as I babbled about nothing or cried about something
you told me it would get better told me give it time you told me just hold on
you said... what ever you said and away I would never run,
I know years have taken a toll marriage, kids, work, I know this
I know should of, could of, would of, and out of site out of mind
I know we are still there for each other in our time of need
I know if we didn't live so far away from one another you I wouldn't miss,
there is so much I want to say to you so much time lost between us
there are mile the separate us and wall that divide us that we both put up
there is time we will never get back moments we haven't shared
there is a time and a place for every thing and I shouldn't fuss,
I could just pick up a phone and call you tell you this or that
I could send you pictures to show you how I'm doing
I could wish for the time we shared to return
I could just think of my favorite cousin like this morning as I sat.
