Life of Trust - a Must

Have you... e'er cried so hard that your eyes stung? ... e'er heard melodies that were never sung? Have you... seen nightmares which to your eyes clung? ... e'er smelt the gloom that in your brain room hung? ... tasted those salty blues on your parched tongue? Have you... felt sadness that engulfed your heart? ... e'er heard melodies that were never sung? Have you... known misery that wouldn't depart? Have you... tried letting those teardrops just flow? ... let your mind rest on that hymnal pillow? Have you... tried prayers to end last night's blow? ... let your nose sniff out that faraway glow? ... tasted God's goodness, so sweet and mellow? Have you... tried faith in God's all-perfect plans? ... let your mind rest on that hymnal pillow? Have you... tried leaving your life in His hands? I've done all & for the record, it's far better to live life trusting God...than not. 11/08/17

Jo, you are so much like my mother. She is exactly the way that you describe yourself here in this beautiful poem. I am not terribly religious at all but I admire the faith of the religious. I believe in God and sure do have high hopes for our hereafter!!

I am curious, what does it mean to be religious?

Beautiful poem Jo Daniel. Such a wonderful message and proven by experience. I too do the same and wonder how others can live without Him. God Bless.
