Life Goes On

Life Goes On Written: By Tom Wright 11/3/01 Today, aslant against an old oak tree, one of life's great lessons was revealed me. A wasp entangled in a web like snare, held helpless to escape the spiders lair. A bird emerged to eat the eight legged friend, then from the Tom Cat's clutches the bird couldn't defend. I, from my tree, in anger shot the cat, rendering it lifeless, in the spot whence it sat. Some day six men will carry me away, and life's cycle continues, another day.
