Why did you leave me? I can’t figure it out. I thought we were meant to be. Now my life is turned inside out. You were the love of my life, And I thought I was yours. I loved being your wife, Whether we were rich or poor. I will love you forever, Although my friends say I’m wrong. Not even my own mother Wants me to keep playing your song. I don’t want to erase The life we had together, But I can’t stay in this place Where my heart will get smothered. It’s so hard to move one, But I know that I must.
