Let Me Be the First

With kisses I'd quench your thirst If love were water, my heart a spring When emotions are unrehearsed You'd feel the joy pure love can bring Satisfying that hunger, that sting With kisses I'd quench your thirst Experiencing love's measure, full swing Breaking that spell which loneliness cursed In your happiness, tears would burst What a beautiful love song we'd sing With kisses I'd quench your thirst Together in love's eternal fling Though I've never answered another's dream If only, you would be my first Love flows from my heart, a spring fed stream With kisses I'd quench your thirst. 7 26 2017 by Daniel Turner

Good Afternoon Daniel. I will start with Lin Lane first. What a beautiful entry. It is very much poetic and poetry in the truest fashion. It reads vintage which is so appealing. Congratulations to Lin. As for you Daniel and your entry. Allow me to say it is a perfect and fitting continuation. You stayed true to the theme language voice and tone. Your entry is marvelous and yes very much poetry. Where would the world be without love. Where would poetry be without love. Excellent work

Unlike Tim, I haven't been away. My younger brother Tim is a carpenter. I have been keeping him busy here working on this old house of mine. So like Cinderella, I have been caught up cleaning in his wake. Big sister Teresa visits from Australia on Saturday. I'm fit to be tied!
