Let Me Be Me
Let me be me
And share what I feel,
Let me be me
And know what I need…
Let me be angry
Let me grieve,
The pain is intense
Let me heave…
Let me be wrong
Let me be right,
I want to assess
The dark and bright…
Let me fall
Let me rise,
Let me see lows
Not only highs…
Let me laugh
Let me cry,
Life is dazed
Let me know why…
Undoubtedly
You are valued,
But it’s time to decide
What’s my magnitude?
Don’t caress
Don’t leave either,
The story is mine
Let me be the writer…
