LEMON TREE
Chorus
I know the land where the lemon-trees flower,
I saw in my garden at merry morning misty hour.
Breeze blowing, leaves to rustle and murmur.
Lemon flowers glowing glistening in cluster.
Refrain
Fifteen days back they enchanted my eyes.
I was overwhelmed getting my expected prize.
Little cute shiny white blossoms in cheers,
normally appearing this time every year.
Chorus
I know the land where the lemon-trees flower.
I saw in my garden at merry morning misty hour.
Breeze blowing, leaves to rustle and murmur
Lemon flowers glowing glistening in cluster.
Refrain
Flowers gradually dried up to recruit
buds of little tiny dark green fruits.
By three or four months, they will mature
without any special care, I can assure.
Chorus
I know the land where the lemon-trees flower.
I saw in my garden at merry morning misty hour.
Breeze blowing, leaves to rustle and murmur.
Lemon flowers glowing glistening in cluster.
Refrain
Gift of Nature on me to shower
This is West Bengal, home land:Our
Chorus
I know the land where the lemon-trees flower.
Little cute blossoms in shiny white color.
