Lament On Lost Dreams

The dream that halfway slipped, dispersed, Where do I go to find it out? Dispersing, to dawn it whispered Something, day nor dusk could find out. My dreams, if flicked by fleeting dawn, My sleep’s unsure, but I’ve no doubt. O life’s dreams-loaded caravan, Tell me if you can find them out. If you command good enough clout, Ask it my lost dreams to dig out. I wrote them some heart-felt letters, I hope they won’t my fond faith flout. Fine O dreams you have now dispersed, If I seed mind’s soil, would ye sprout? ____________________________________ Ghazal |05.12.2021| sleep, dreams
