Knife and Blight
I carved two names into two trees along time ago
and put a Jagged little heart around both
but your names aren't Anthony or Julie
they're Maple and Oak.
Once I painted a smile face
on a gigantic piece of stone
slapping blight on a noble face
some four billion years old.
