clear skies mild day outside kids play things change too soon gray skies by noon weather grows bold playtime’s on hold lightning flashing thunder crashing wild winds roaring torrents pouring skies are clearing kids are cheering rainbow’s bright hues no time to lose puddle wading day is fading July 25, 2022 written for the Brian Strand Premiere Choice Contest Placed 9th

I could relate to your poem Janice--traversing through the day--perfect imagery of what I observe-- from vibrant sky of morning to thunder and rains in the afternoon-- then clearing and rainbow!

Reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go. I remember the days when the children would either be redoing the plumbing under the kitchen sink or be outside digging a hole to China. I enjoyed reading this one. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara
