Juicy Blackberries
Blackberries, so juicy and bright,
Stain your teashirt when squeezed.
Blackberries, some tart, some spiced,
Popped on my tongue with ease.
Walk the bushes of allotment rows,
Picked off branches, one, two, three.
Take them home for blackberry jam,
On a scone with cream for tea.
