Jackson Cat
If I didn't know better, I’d swear that you smile,
listening to every word that is said.
Sometimes you just like to sit and talk for a while,
And I feel like I’m light in the head.
If I didn't know better, I'd swear that you talk
telling me just what you need.
if you don't like the set-up you just sit and balk
demanding attention indeed.
If I didn't know better, I’d swear that you laughed,
so happy to have morsels to eat.
But you won't laugh if I mention a bath,
not even with plenty of treats.
If I didn't know better I'd swear that you cried,
shed tears just like a baby.
You rubbed up against me at my side
saying, "This poor crazy cat lady."
