I'Ve Tried

I look and stare Get into this state of mind I finally noticed We are in a world That is turning blind Blind far beyond the eyes The way we are turning on one another Is not a surprise Its sad ?? That we can't get along Were losing the possibility Letting our right Get confused with the wrong But you're strong Some would say Why not give a display Of how to exist And not just live I am a human Still running in this race ?? I am still here Thanking him for his Grace I've tried to make sense Of everything that's presented We are on borrowed time Seems like your rented Not resented I've tried Lord knows I have Everyday That life is granted I treat myself Like the soil From the plant That's already been planted I've tried I've tried Yes like a million times Over and over Again and again Trying to live perfect Overcoming obstacles from within We all sin lets be honest Lets be true Trying is the best option that's left to do But what if trying Doesn't appear to work What if all you want is better But it seems like you cant get it together Trying to balance Trying to manage life Trying to do right Yes that's so real Trying without giving up Doing whatever it took To make it Yes I've tried Yes I can Trying to give a helping hand To a dying land Yes a cry out For help People need people We cant do it by ourself I want the wealth That lies in my heart And as I much as I've tried I think im off to a great start 10/31/2015 Written By:Concetta Hardnett
