It's Funny, Isn'T It

"IT'S FUNNY, ISN'T IT?" we all hope for change at some point in our lives and when we get it, it usually comes when we don’t want it. eventually the mouths dry up, life continues and everything that once was, is gone. when we’re younger, it keeps us looking ahead. when we’re older, it pushes us towards something else to take the place of something else. change breeds more change. remorse, adaptation and ex- citement are the children. we all have a sickness that ruins other sicknesses. the easiest way to deal with your own is to find someone that has a sickness far worse than you. most people feel sorry for me. they play on changes that re- define who I am. I feel sorry for people. they live in the change they create. for me, it’s quite simple: everything is temporary. love, life, even death. change will bring all of these. change will destroy all of these. my change brought what has kept me alive all these years. grab 13 minutes for yourself and motion the waiter for another drink. the next 13 will be magical.
