Island Wind

A blustery wind, coming from the bay, has proclaimed itself, wind of the day! It brings winter's calling card along, telling us of winds that will be strong. Island winds come from either way, from out at sea, and from the bay. It can be a gentle, soft spoken breeze. It can be gale force, bending back tall trees. It's playful antics can cool the day, happily causing the beach disarray. When out of control, a frightening sight. And it can wail and moan through the nigjht. Our wind, can be either friend or foe, from where it will come, you never know.
