Into Tomorrow

Try to learn as much as I can. To seek answers to questions yet to be asked. To stand alongside my fellow man. To be authentic, the me that is unmasked. Let me do more than look, let me see. I will think, before I speak. To remember that kindness is free. Within reason, I will turn the other cheek. To step up, leaving my fear behind. Consider giving foes a second chance. I make mistakes, let me keep that in mind. When I hear music, I want to dance. Allow me this before I run out of time. Let me get to where I need to go. Let mountains become hills, that I need to climb. To understand the things that I know. Keep it simple, but be clear. Be sure of what I am about. Focus on things that I hold dear.
