Into the Valley of Death.....A.L.T

What of violence and God, is death simply a part of life? as each creature large or small lives through strife. And, righteous wrath, what of its source a mere aberration of mans faulty mental course? Surely, some claim to hear the Almighty Voice, Yet, do they not simply make a human choice? Violence is brought upon man by man; how can it exist, we ponder, without God’s Hand? Malnourished or over stimulated human kind find murderous meanings in the convoluted mind. Anger, does not motivate the most High and holy state, man has given false meaning to accommodate. The wise will look strongly toward mortal gain when caught between righteousness and pain. And speak less often of righteous anger with firm nod Let man step lightly, for he knows not the mind of God.

I like to think that earth life is like a "hazing" for getting into heaven. I also like to think that I agreed to do this BEFORE I was born...while in Heavenly Father's presence. The plan is a good one! The Plan of Salvation! And best of all, we have God's gift to mortals...FREE AGENCY. The right to choose to war OR not war...To HATE or not hate...To seek wealth or to seek God...or both, (God 1st) SO WE CAN NOT BLAME GOD. We can only blame our choices as individuals and as a species. Thinks!

Heard someone say something like that the other day - that one cannot know more than G-d does. How to explain all the terrible things you read in the paper each day? Well at least that is poetry to help redeem us. Thought provoking piece! Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

Indeed....who are we to speak the mind of God? We cannot know, our minds are too small and narrow to be so righteous or smug to assume we know it all. Such a wise, well thought poem, Deb....provocative verses....yes!

Very good poem Deb, But we do have the dictates of God, the dos and don'ts. Problem is sometimes we think we use them in the right way when maybe we don't. I think God will forgive us sooner for doing and making a mistake than for completly disregarding the wishes of the commands. But that in itself does not excuse a mistake. Soup mail again.

Nor will we probably ever....but God does have His holy anger, you can sweet bippy on that! You are right about too many using God as a means to their ends though. You'll know them by their fruits, for the fruit of God is wisdom and love, and the fruit of Christ is eternal life.
