In the Mud

The girl was lying in the mud, her face was smashed, her throat was cut; the guy who found her puked his gut - he'd never seen just so much blood. They caught the killer (now in jail) - his reason was that he was high; his trip had meant the girl must die. The locals said they'd heard a wail. They say her ghost is haunting there. It seems to me she should be blessed; I hope she manages to rest... or else it really isn't fair... * a true story about a teenager murdered in a local graveyard written 13th September for Constance's enclosed rhyme contest

How sad. This is why parents, especially mothers, panic when their children are late coming home. Excellent tho so sad. Congratulations Jack, on your win!
