In the Meadow
I walk a meadow's vibrant spring
to find peace in living
I'll hear the feathered creatures sing
bow to all this meadow will bring
and be thankful for its giving
for all that it's bringing
I'll see the sunset with still eyes
lay in the grass with dreams
I'll count the dewdrops nature sighs
and hear sounds from a wind that cries
I'll rest in the sun's light-splayed beams
and wondrous warmth of gleams
I'll measure time as heartbeats slow
see the dark shadows as a shawl
to give a depth to the meadow
I'll watch silhouettes of birds go
with their wings flight, my soul will call
here... where the dewdrops fall
