In His Wake- Ian Munywe

IN HIS WAKE- IAN MUNYWE In his wake, he saw it all. Family, friends and foes. Huddled so close, like logs felled. They spoke, grand of this bloke. Resting in velvet, smiling to his best. At last the test, was passed. Elegy to elegy, recited with energy. This villain, they could no longer disdain. “Hero” was conferred to him, with sorrow and vim. All they could do, was watch with rue. The light dim, how thin the seam could seem. LiterarySpaceAfrica Ian Munywe©
