Good Bye

Saying Good-Bye Only fourteen without a clue. God only knew it would be you. Scared and afraid and left all alone. No, where to go or even call home. A child they say, how could it be? You dropped to the floor and down on one knee. Praying for God to show you the way. But how could you bear to give me away? Holding me close as you started to cry. Whispering I love you as you said goodbye. Sometimes wishing you'd had changed your mind. Only to turn back the hands in time. Now it's too late. It must have been fate. You're somebody else's to have and to hold Bundled so tight so I wouldn't be cold. You watched from the window as they took me away. So many things you wished you could say. Goodbye baby girl you're always in my heart. Now you will have a great new start.

Sarah, I am so sad about Daisy. I have rescued 19 dogs from places they did not want to be. I am down to one, Sophie Helen, but she is getting much older, and this poem makes me think ahead and feel a bit sad that she will not be with us forever. Nicely done. Welcome to Soup!

Thank you Caren, she was ran over about a week ago. She did everything with me and I miss her so much.
