If Today Was My Last Day

If today was my last day, I would do nothing differently. If today was my last drive, I would be grateful. If today was my last brush with pain, I would be happy. If today was my last day, I would do nothing differently.

If today were my last day, I would do so much differently... The Sages say, "Repent one day before you die." (Implication, of course, is that you never know when you will go). I conclude by echoing Line's comment. (Drop down). bon voyage... (soup mail)

Thank you Gershon. It is simple, but it meant a lot to me as I was reflecting, hoping everyone would realize it.

This was a wake-up call poem. Whatever you would do differently, do that. Because we simply never know.
