You left my dreams From sensual nights Leaving me alone Devoid of your affinity Causing me to flee My own fairytale, And now I see me Holding your hands Where roses bloom hearts And tulips sway minds As breezes make music Flirting with your lyrics, Prompting me to wonder If that was your plan Escaping from dreams To reside in poetry. This poem is profound and you did it with so few words. You wouldn't think so but I am actually horrible at interpreting poetry I always tend to apply to myself or relate somehow which I was easily able to do here but I'll never know exactly what u meant unless you tell me heheehe
