If I could softly touch your heart To heal what is broken apart I would do so with magic love For instant healing from above If I could reach your soul somehow Lifting you to live fully now To watch you be all you can be Without walls, without fears, just free I would take your hand, let you know You can trust and go with the flow With new beginnings that can bring Enchantment in most everything It may be simple as a smile Light as a feather kind of style If I could be your light one day I would shine bright to guide the way Heartbreak from past would soon be dim Sometimes the best is on a whim Never give up on something new Somewhere out there, love awaits you Heidi Sands

I love this poem, Heidi! It is unabashedly upbeat ... I love the positivity. Beautiful poem you've penned. There is a beautiful jazz song by the same title as this poem. The song "If I Could" by Darrell Barnes is so meditative and peaceful. You should try to find it and hear it. I got the song on USB disk, but don't know how to get it to you. Love this poem though. Love and more love to you.

Hi Daniel. Please never give up! I know that is SO much easier said than done. When we are hurt , it is just so very hard to trust and open up again, etc. Some people do stay on their own (alone) just with friends...and actually find contentment in that and of course that is fine too. What is most important is happiness in this life we live. Take Care.
