I Will Rejoice In the Lord No Matter What - Habakkuk 3: 17-19
In those days of the coronavirus
there's a need to stand firm
remember your creator at all times
He's in charge no matter the crisis
One wonders when the fig tree doesn't bud
even the vines are bearing no fruit
the olives and the fields give no food
it seems so hopeless, will nothing at root
I will rejoice in the Lord no matter what
for He's promised to keep me secure
I'll joy in HIs work for my salvation
receiving His righteousness makes me pure
My strength alone is in my Lord
He provides the power to stand true
so to walk high on many a hill
what a saviour Jesus is ever new
So keep my eyes on my Jesus
who keeps me strong in this hour
standing fast till the trials past
for when I'm weak He's my power
(Habakkuk 3: 17-19 " Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls-- Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills." (NKJV).
