I Took a Tumble - Ouch

I broke a fingernail... it's the least of my worries fractured finger hurts I took a tumble this morning.... after 3 1/2 hours at A & E the xrays revealed that I've broken my little finger, i will be visiting the fracture clinic in the morning. Apologies in advance as I won't be able to comment as much as I would normally do. 4/26/18

I am doing ok thanks CayCay but I did too much yesterday when we went out with friends and tried to eat with a knife and fork for the first time since I'dd fallen and struggled especially by the end of the meal and hubby had to help me:-) hugs jan xx

This one hurts, I feel the pain ... I hope it heals fast and it stays out of your way.. sometimes injury's are like magnets they attract objects to get in your way .. hugs

Gosh darn it, Jan. We all know how much you love to write limericks, but if your Muse has run out of ideas you didn't have to injure yourself to get new material!! Seriously, I'm so sorry you feel ouchy. Oh that gives me an idea for a limerick.

I was in the UK on a short break (how apt) and had to go to the hospital when we got home last night as the finger wasn't set straight so another 2 hours in accident and emergency. it will be about 6 weeks before the strapping comes off its very frustrating:-( hugs jan xx

Lol Line it's the first time I've broken a bone .... just feel silly as I fell in the street. We had only commented about the uneven paving the day before, main thing is its not serious just inconvenient and painful but hubby will be around to help me with things I'll struggle with like cutting food. I will devise ways of doing things with my right hand only:-) hugs Jan xx
