I Stood Still In Silence
Here, I stand alone
In fear...on my own
Tranquil teardrops from bitter clouds
Shower away the solemn shrouds
There's freedom through sorrow
Solitude sadness
Is my only shadow
Disdain distress
Has made its blow
Here, I sit by myself
In lonely lamentation,
Left alone on the shelf
Can't conceal my frustration
Upon the cards of my shattered soul…
You blew away my good luck
That made my heart beat beautiful
I'm worth more than a buck
Sun still glows cheerily...we are free...
Glad that our eustress reigns
Rain evaporates into clouds and sea
Wash away my shame stains
There's always another tomorrow
There, I stood alone and then
We are slightly together again
I stood still in solitude, still in sheer solitude
Until you gave me the attitude of gratitude
