like the moon misses the sun.
And cry myself to sleep
chasing a vanishing dream.

I long to be with you.
Chasing a vanishing dream
obscured by the veil of death.
I long to be with you,
a grounded bird I want to fly.

I need to see your face.

and leave all my worries behind.
I need to see your face
like the flower needs rain.
And cry myself to sleep
