I-Claudio

I-Claudio Eccentric and affable, charming and wily, Oozing charm and charisma, staying lucid and smiley, The perfect comparison to what came before, And he brought us a miracle, now we've showed him the door? He protected his squad by deflecting the press, And with no pressure on them, they had fairy-tale success. But when the fanfare subsided and with the medals they'd won, They forgot Ranieri, and thought 'I'm a big boy, job done'. Gone was the work rate that he'd built at the start, Gone were pizza's, team spirit and most of all heart. When the boo's started coming it seems most of the squad, Rounded back on Ranieri and to me that’s just odd! And though some of the fans thinks this gives us more chance, I don't get the decision and the timing is pants, So it's Leicester's own Don who takes this on his chin, Though he gave us a trophy we had no right to win. I hope that the players fight to fix up this mess, Once again it is Claudio sacrificed to the press. For one glorious summer we were fearless and strong, Reigning Champions of England, if for not very long. When this seasons’ consigned to the attic of time, Our name's still on that trophy and the memories still mine
