I Am What I Won'T Be

. Much younger I'm now in my older years. My mind, calm but alert, silence it hears. It keeps glad thoughts and keeps on wondering About all that's worth my remembering. I can guess how I seem on the outside And quite sure how I really am inside, Though I've longed for something better before I've become what I won't be anymore. .
