How Do You Look Ahead
When most of your life is behind you
How do you look ahead
When all night you silently sigh
And wonder how it feels to die
Friends and family all tell you to cheer up
They're not really thinking of you
They can't possibly fathom what it means
To have nothing important or pressing to do
The days meld together, a morass of gloom
You spend more and more time asleep in your room
Then one morn, you can't seem to awaken
For late at night your life was finally taken
