The days are getting longer now- our Winter Solstice made the turn, so minutes added do endow rays of the Sun more time to burn. End of December, days return to give more daylight and allow next months to sync with Sun's pattern- grant longest day, late June, her bow. January 24, 2020 For Contest, Oh-No A Twisted Char-Lay Sponsored by Charles Messina Lay Form: 8 x 8 8 lines, 8 Syllables Each Line Rhyme: abab baba

Sandra, I love your lay regarding the increase of our sun's sky presence. I was born on the shortest day of the year, so I celebrate not only my birth, but "the Winter Solstice making the turn"! Congrats on another fine win ~ John
