HONEST

HONEST
In my painting is a story of long ago
a story that needs to be told
a shakedown of fear and darkness everywhere
walking on shaky grounds soon will be found
the shallow of the foolish
the shame of the disrepute
hide behind lies of falsehood
darkness is out of control
you know how this old story goes
The feeling...there's more to the story
that keeps us reading on
''I feel there's something wrong here,
You think this is too easy.''
Brutus smiled and nods his head
'' You think I'm in some manic phase,
that the truth will hit pretty soon.''
Brutus shrugged, then nod's again.
''Yeah, I guess so,
I must paint something deeper, more dramatic. ''
''You know what's going on here, Moonlight? ''
''What Brutus? tell me.''
"You are painting your secrets of your visions
You know not to paint your story
Dark Angel, is reading into your work
he is wanting to know everything that you see
because he wants full control.''
"You are right, Brutus, what was I thinking? ''
Brutus rolled his eyes ''You weren't'''
''I think it's just that at some point I made a
conscious decision that I will soon be free to do as I please
without Dark Angel in my life. ''
''Good luck with that Moonlight.''
