Hold me gently in your arms so I can feel the warmth of your love. Let me rest my head upon your chest so I may feel the reassuring rhythm of your heart beat. Let me breathe you in my tall strong oak who I depend on so much. The depth of your passion is conveyed by your every thoughtful action. By your generosity to others, to strangers, by your Aloha spirit you freely share. In the long nights without sleep... reflection comes in restless waves landing upon the soft sands of home. © Connie Marcum Wong *Dedicated to my husband Michael. We just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary December 4th.

Wonderful dedication of love, this poem is, Connie. I admire anyone who stays married their whole adult life. I wish my marriage had lasted more than nine years, but such is life. You and your spouse are more than half way home. My parents were married for 60 yrs. My mother died three years ago, God rest her soul. This is just a beautiful poem. I love it so much. Have a great holiday, you and your family. Love and more love to you and yours.

Thank you very much Freddy. I was married to my first husband for 12 years and had two children with him. We grew and changed and we wanted different things from life so ultimately we divorced. I chose wisely for my second mate but my Ex married three more times unsuccessfully. You have to work at marriage to make it a success. Thank you for your nice comment. ; )
