Hidden

I hide under the umbrella of the nearest willow tree Just to be myself, with no social media publicity Where the details of my life are not all scattered Across the open ground, as if nothing mattered Take me out from under the unwanted microscope It’s not where I belong and not where I can cope Allow me the peace and freedom of this saving grace Found beneath the willow tree in my hidden quiet place Heidi Sands 9/14/18

Under the willow tree, a nice place to be invisable. Business affairs were always work for me. Not genuine, but sometimes you have to play the game. I would much rather be under the willow in the rain. Much needed peace... Lovely, Heidi

Indeed, unplugged moments of solitude, away from digital or electronic devices, are a beautiful thing, Heidi. Thank God for hidden quiet places. A beautiful poem of finding serenity. Warmest wishes always.. ~Susan

I so agree with you Heidi. Call me old fashioned but I like my privacy and when I want to share something with someone, I can speak like we used to do years ago, LOL Great Poem, happy Friday xxoo

Having a sanctuary like that away from the rat race of life is so important to our well being. Social media sites do nothing for your self esteem, many have been dragged down by them. Tom
