Hey You, With the Beautiful Face

The day that I first saw your smile As I stooped to tie a lace A small stone throw across the street You with the beautiful face I ran to the corner that you turned I knew I had lost the race A myriad of labrinthic doors and of you there was no trace I search the spot of that one glimpse, every single day In the vain hope, our eyes will meet and my feelings to convey Pretty girls I have met, they are all now shades of grey Unlike you my rainbow sweet, my dream, my sweet sorbet A myriad of labrinthic doors that stole your heart that day I open a new one every time but you have gone away If I could wish for for time to change I would wish I had not stooped But like a golden eagle upon a lamb I wish that I had swooped Across the street into your path with no time to tie a lace So I could whisper in your ear, hey you with the beautiful face 5/04/2019 Contest: Im crushing on you Sponsor: Julie Leigh Rodeheaver
