When we fall in love, it seems love makes us crazy, and we're quite prepared do whatever love allows us to do. This poem attempts to convey those feelings.

Hey! I’m in love. The gallery in my head has paintings sent down from above. Hey! I’ve a crush. My thoughts, my words, my hope, my mind’s completely gone to mush. It’s you that I love waking up beside: You provide, Let me inside, Wiped my tears when I cried. Hey! I love it when you talk. My legs buckle, I sit, I feel so high, my brain begins to balk. Hey! I love it when you hug. I close my eyes, I float, I daze, I haze, you must be some kind of drug. It’s you that I think of every day: I want you to stay, I want us to play, Pick you up then steal you away. Hey! I’m in love. The gallery in my head has portraits of my beautiful free lovely dove.
