Hero of the Road By Margarita Pushkina

Your home became the gaol for you, for them you're alien, it's true, you were so naive and you waited for changes. you thought your mate will understand he will say: go ahead, my friend, but he was roaming in gloom by the fence. The sun and stars got started burning road The sound of wheels was someone's plot The burning road and you were feeling warmth despite of snows and it was close. Oh, yeah, you chose to risk yourself, nobody told you: keep the wealth. And you have painted your helmet in black. Like beast your motor roars in night, waste-ground, the turn and you're all right, you were revenging for love that won't back. Road started to sing and you heard every sound like beat of heart, your freedom's found, The singing road and you were hero there, The singing road was everywhere. There was your moment of good luck, You were so young and hot like spark, But clone of yours was so fast to meet you. Like you he was so hot and free, no one cried out click the break for thee, There's no complain for the Fate, oh, it's true! The fallen stars got started burning road The sound of wheels was someone's plot The crying road and you were hero there The crying pain was everywhere! P.S. This is my translation of poem by Margarita Pushkina (song by heavy metal band Aria)

Well, actually, it's not really mine. From time to time I translate some russian poems and songs. Of course I have to bring something own for rhyme and size of composition. Usualy I write p.s. to tell about author, but in this time I thought that nobody reads my p.s. (or I just was lazy). If it's really interesting for you, this is my translation of song of heavy metal band Aria, poem by Margarita Pushkina.
