Here Lies Mother Earth
~ Inscription ~
Here lies Mother Earth,
we did not appreciate her worth.
She could not save the trees, animals, or the ocean,
or stop the flooding because of icebergs broken.
She could not stop pollution, storms, or fires,
though asking for our help whispering her desires.
She tried her very best until her final last gasp,
now, we have nothing, nothing to grasp.
