Heavenly Pet Choir
I think all animals that die
are cuddly cherubs in the sky;
though mayhem must arise for sure,
when rivals meet at heaven's door,
with biting reptiles, gnawing rats,
and snarling dogs and clawing cats...
written 8th August for Constance's Pet Heaven contest
