Heaven-Bound

With REVERENCE he approached the sacred ground ENCOMPASSED by a haughty sense of pride, Content in knowing he was heaven-bound, That certain PREDILICTION, not denied; CONSTERNATION showed at once, he could see CONDEMNATION from above, then APATHY; UNEARTHLINESS a practice he’d not tried. 10/31/2018

Many of us probably hope that we will be secure in knowing we are "heaven bound" as we near the end of our days. This is quite a thought-provoking, yet brief verse. Well done! Your work stands well on its own, but if for a contest, I send winning wishes your way. Hugs, Carolyn
