Have You Ever
Have you ever been spoiling for a fight,
I have,
Believing you have the right,
I have,
Looking such a fright,
I have
With your best friend in your sight,
I have,
Not knowing why You are so up tight,
I have.
My Mum put me off having that right,
Before I had gained full height,
Not stopping the fight til my nose was a sorry sight,
And giving my best friend more of the limelight
Telling me what I did was not right,
And I should apologise for starting the fight,
And in future act more bright.
I wish my Mum was still alive,
So she could set some modern parents right,
On how to deal with kids spoiling for a fight,
Before they gain too much height.
